My mom was very saddened at how few messages she saw on here, and afraid that other people might share the same feelings as her, I wanted to reach out as well.
I think quality is more important than quantity. Jimmy may not have touched as many lives as some, but those he knew were always welcomed into his life with a kindness, love and grace that are too often taken for granted by all of us.
His life was short, but I believe its impact will be felt for generations. I know I'll always think of him and be inspired by his devotion to those he loved.
I pray he's with auntie, now, and my grandparents, enjoying the happiness and peace he so deserves. And my love and prayers are with Cody, Debbie and Neil.

Debby & Neil,
I am deeply sorry for your loss to your brother Jimmy. No words can take the pain away. I pray God watches over you both. Doesn't seem real. He will be with Mom and Auntie Joan & Uncle Joe. Hold onto the memories of Jimmy. I still have the memory of Jimmy running away to our house, and we lived right next door. Rest in Peace Jimmy. Love cousin Jackie

Oh I truly don't even know what to say as I'm So Sorry for your loss just doesn't seem to be enough - it was just one year ago that I was in Church reading Jimmy's mom's Eulogy at St. Vincent's since my BFF Deb (his sister) could not make it up from Texas. I was in shock and disbelief at the thought of Deb losing another family member, as she had taken on the "mother' role to Jimmy for the past year. The hardest part is not being able to be with my friend, hug her, and just be as supportive as I can.
Jimmy the last time I saw you was at your mom's services. I know how much you missed her and I know that you are now Resting in Peace by her side right around the corner of my house at East Lawn Cemetery. Now when I walk Scooby through the Cemetery I visit the graves of my friends mom's and dad's, now Jimmy we will visit you too.
This is a family I knew since I was a "young teen" I miss Deb so much and I know how hard this is on her - if there is anything I could do to make it easier on her you know I am right here my friend.
Jimmy Rest Easy for as a Christian I know that we will be guided by our loved ones who have passed on already to a place where there will be no more pain, no more suffering. My Deepest Condolences to the Merola-Martinez Family
