William “Billy” Conway Jr., 59 of East Haven passed away September 15, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born December 17, 1955 in New Haven to William and Trofimena (D’Albis) Conway. William is survived by mother, Trofimena Conway of East Haven, sister, Patricia Conway of East Haven, nephews; Jason Bozzi (Ruth), Joseph Bozzi (Melissa) and niece, Rachel Perdo (Chris). William is also survived by great nephews/nieces; Matthew Perdo, Gianna Bozzi, Joe Bozzi and Amelia Bozzi and by many loved cousins, friends and dear friend, Tina Cricchi. Billy was a member of International Longshoremen’s Association for New Haven/Bridgeport Local 1398. He also had a great gift with nature and loved animals.
Family will receive friends from 9 – 10:15 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home at 10:20 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at a later date in East Lawn Cemetery.
