To Anthony's Dear Family & Friends,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for the passing of your dear family/friend - he was just with me that Saturday at work and then off to mass with other residents. I couldn't believe the news on the following Monday, and cried.
What an amazing man all the way around - rough little cookie and a puppy at the same time! Peace be with you all, especially during this most holy week.
May God hold him in the hand forever.

Tony will be missed by all. As a City Inspector I had the pleasure of working with Tony for many years. He always greated me with a smile and had the gift of lifting the spirits of people he encountered. My condolences to all family and friends. Michael C.

I was only a little girl when we all lived in the three family house on 1260 Townsend Ave barely 5 when we left there...but during those 5 short years, I gained many happy memories of my cousin. Anthony (Tony), or as we referred to him "Uncle Jimmy's Anthony" (so we wouldn't get all the cousin "Anthony's" missed up), was gentle in spirit, soft spoken and, like the rest of the Zampano's, funny but in a more subtle way. I also remember he liked to play the guitar during some of the family jam sessions at the wonderful parties and get togethers down in the basement of 1260 Townsend Ave...as an adult, I remember most recently of his kindness in checking in on my brother when he was admitted to St. Raphael's and calling back to my mom and I to say , "don't worry, he'll be alright, I'll check on him before I go home". We will miss you Anthony...always in our hearts...to Beatrice, Anthony Debra and all those who loved him, our thoughts and prayers are with you...Aunt Rose Zampano, cousins Richard and Teresa Zampano (Bratcher) and husband Darin Bratcher.

I was so terribly saddened to learn of Tony's passing - what a wonderful man and our great loss at the Hospital. Tony was loved by all that knew him, always smiling, always telling a joke, but most importantly, a great friend to us all at Saint Raphael's Hospital. I had the pleasure of knowing him for the past eight years, and most recently, working with him on some remodeling projects at the Cancer Center. My sincere condolenses to all of the family- my thoughts and prayers are always with you.
God Bless.

Debbie & Family,
It is with a saddened heart that I heard of your Dad's passing. Your Dad was a Dad to all us and will be dearly missed. Debbie, your Dad and you had a wonderful bond and you have been an angel to him. Know in your heart and mind that you did everything you could to make your Dad as ease and he knew that and was blessed to have you along side of him. No Regrets. Dad is at peace in God's kingdom and will forever be an angel guiding and looking over you. My love and prayers to you all. God Bless

I'm so sorry to hear of Anthony's passing. I hadn't seen Anthony since the 1960s, but remember him from my old East Haven neighborhood. He was 4 years older than me, but always treated me and my other friends as equals. May he rest in peace.
