In New Haven, June 9,2011, Stephen J. Maknis, 51, of East Haven. Son of Sandra J. Yorks Macknis of East Haven and the late Joseph T. Macknis. Brother of Jeanne L. Rapuano and husband Mark of Clinton and Cindy Jabaut and husband David of East Haven.Uncle of Michael J. Rapuano and Tyler J. Jabaut. Born Aug. 14,1959 in New Haven, he was a graduate of North Branford High School and had been employed as a cook at several area resturaunts.
Funeral service will be private. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven
