I was shocked to stumble upon this news. I moved away from Dunnellon for a few years and am back again. What happened, he used to work for my ex-husband and used to come over once in a while to the house and give me plants for my garden...I am so sad!!!

Jeanne,Mark,Michael,Cindy,David,Tyler,and Sandy,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. i sat in shock for a long time and many memories ran thru my head. There is nothing i can say that will ease your pain now, i can tell you from experience it will get better as time goes on. Jeanne, i wish i had not let so many years go by without contacting you, I have thought of you often over the years and to this day i still cherish the friendship we had. You were my best friend and the sister i always wanted. There are few people you can call friend in this world and I was fortunate to have you as mine. I hope you can forgive my stupidity and for letting my insecurities and pride get in the way of calling you. If you knew how often i speak of you and the memories i have that mean so much you would know this comes from heart. Your family was one of the brightest spots in my life and i will never forget that. Steve marched to the beat of his own drummer but he was so funny and had a strong core of kindness in him My mother and dad send their condolences and prayers as well. They both thought the world of you and your family. Steve will be missed i know this for sure, he was a special person. Stay strong and you will be in my prayers.
