Early in her career, Mary Ann taught sixth grade Science at the E. C. Adams Middle School, Guilford. She was a dynamo of creativity seeking appealing ways to hold the attention of the class. There was never a dull moment in her classes. For this and for her love for her students, Mary Ann will be long remembered. I and many other Adams Middle School faculty mourn her passing.
