Gloria (DeVoid) Jones, 81 of East Haven passed away May 11, 2024 at home. She was born July 9, 1942 in New Haven to Gerald and Gertrude (Jennigs) DeVoid. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward Jones (2014). She is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Ed was the love of Gloria’s life, along with her pet companion, “Lucky.” Gloria enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting. She was a retired employee of Echlin with over 35 years of service with sales promotion.
Family will receive friends on Friday May 17, 2024 from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in East Haven.
