James “Jay” Fiengo, 53, of Ansonia CT, passed away on Monday, June 26th, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital following a short illness. A beloved father of Stephanie and Elissa Fiengo, both of Port Saint Lucie, FL. Jay was a life-long fisherman with a passion for drag-racing and music, especially 80' hair metal bands such as Van Halen. Jay enjoyed his career as a mechanic and enjoyed wise-cracking with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie and Elissa Fiengo, his step-mother, Patricia Fiengo, his brother Bobby Fiengo, and his niece and nephew, Krystle and Anthony Fiengo.
Jay is predeceased by his father, Anthony Fiengo, his mother, Anne Vida, and his brother, Anthony R. Fiengo.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 2nd, 2023 at his step-mother's house at 19 Clintonville Rd, Northford, CT at 2:30 PM.
