Please share a memory of Catherine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Catherine P. (Pray) Haddock, 4/14/31-10/26/22
Catherine, better known as Cathy, was born in Brooklyn New York to the late Michael and Catharine Pray (DuPaul). She was married to the love of her life, William “Bill” Haddock for 38 years before his death in 1992. She is survived by her three children, Eileen Hudak-Gordon, FL, Michael “Mike” Haddock, FL, and Maureen “Mo!” Haddock (Callene), NC. Cathy was also the beloved and very proud Grandma to James (DE) and Robert (FL) Cossaboom and step-granddaughter Jeanette Raymond (Christopher) (DE). She was blessed to have been Great-Grandma Haddock to 5 great-grandsons, 3 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by sons-in-law, Richard Cossaboom 1990, Andrew Hudak 2001, Keith Gordon 2022, and daughter-in-law Margarite Haddock 2016.
Cathy retired from Southern Ct State University (1997) as a Data Entry Supervisor. She was a 1949 graduate of St Mary’s High School, New Haven, and Stone School of Business, New Haven. She also attained her Associate Degree from Quinnipiac College.
She fully embraced her retirement traveling to see family and friends and taking many cruises, playing cards (Rummy), and her all-time favorite activity - BINGO! She enjoyed the years she was a chaperone for the Emerald Cadets Drum and Bugle Corp of New Haven, CT.
The family would like to recognize and thank the Staff at Brookdale Spring Hill, FL for their care, compassion, kindness, dedication, and most importantly the love they gave to her! Thank you seems insufficient, but it is shared from deep in the heart!
In lieu of flowers, the family request that you donate to a charity of your choice or just pay it forward to a random person you meet in your life.
All are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Monday May 22, 2023 at 1 P.M. in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven (Go Directly To The Office). Cathy “Mom” will be laid to rest beside her beloved Bill.
