Obituary of Michael A. Ader

Michael A. Ader, 63 of Hamden, CT passed away December 17, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital after he fought a courageous battle of Pancreatic Cancer. Michael was born September 15, 1959 in The Bronx, NY. Pre-deceased by his Mother Linda Northrop (Taylor) and is survived by his Father Joseph Ader (Jackie). Beloved husband of Jennie (Penny) Ader. Survived by his son, Joseph M. Ader and four siblings, Lori Rewis (Joseph), Jodi Ader-Lopez (Willy), Jackie Ader-Grob (Freddy) and Joseph Ader (Katie). Michael is also survived by many nieces/nephews. Michael was a devoted, loving husband, and the love of Jennie’s life. He cherished his God Daughter Amelia Lopez who gave him so much joy. He loved Petey, his cat, which was always by his side. Michael truly loved and cared deeply for everyone. He was a devout Catholic and a kind hearted person who always put others before himself. He touched the lives of so many people, and was loved by everyone who knew him. Michael was a welder for 45 years, He retired from The Madison Company in Branford, CT. where he worked for the past 17 years. He took great pride in his work, loved his job and his co-workers, and referred to them as family. Michael enjoyed collecting fine Art and unusual Items. He also enjoyed metal detecting with his sister Jodi. Michael was a life-long New York Yankees fan. He could always be seen wearing shorts – even in winter – and he wanted his friends and family to always dress comfortably around him too.
