Obituary of Juan Torres

Juan Torres 70, of North Haven passed away on December 9, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born October 3, 1952 in Puerto Rico to the late Marcial Torres Perez and Felicita (Yambo) Torres. Juan is survived by his three children, Juan Altreche (Sandra) of Georgia, Elizabeth Colburn of East Haven and Yolanda Altreche of Georgia along with ten grandchildren: Giovanni Altreche, Gabriel Altreche, Mia Altreche, Bianka Valentin, Dominick Solorzano, Kiana Solorzano, Efrain Ayala, Isaiah Ayala, Kalya Lugo, Niasia Altreche, and one great grandson, Jace Ricketts. Juan is also survived by the children’s mother, Lucy Altreche of Georgia and his siblings, Judith Torres of CA, Felipe Yambo (Merrcedes) of Chicago, Sylvia Gonzalez (Bob Hernandez) of CA, Lillian Trott (Mark) of FL and Irma Yambo of CA and numerous nieces/nephews. Our Dad was a very loving and caring Father, Brother, and friend who adored his family. He was a dedicated and loyal worker at Custom Recycling for 25 years. Dad loved to joke around make everyone laugh, Dad never missed a good baseball game, especially the New York Yankees. All services are private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
