Robert “Bob” Somosky 62 of New Haven passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2021 in New Haven. He was born September 26, 1958 in New Haven to the late Ernest and Shirley (Reynolds) Somosky. Bob is survived by his sister, Bettyann McHugh (widow of Kevin McHugh) of Branford and two brothers, Ernest Somosky of East Haven and Michael Somosky of New Haven. He is also survived by nephews/nieces, Kevin McHugh (Teresa), Amy McHugh (Luis Irizarry), Jennifer Somosky and Louis Somosky, great nieces Marjorie Gomez and Sofia Mchugh and God daughter Kelsey Snedeker.
Robert worked at C. Coowels & Co. in North Haven. He loved the beach and the sun. He loved being with family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until the time of service at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private. Robert was loved by so many and will be missed by them all.
