Anna M. Abate, age 91 passed away on Thursday March 4th, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Saint Raphael Campus. She was born on August 2, 1929, in New Haven, to Harold Sr. and Concetta (Rubano) Thomas. Anna enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: spending time with family, soaking up the sunshine on warm summer days, coffee and snacking on anything sweet. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Rosario Abate and brother Harold Thomas Jr. Anna loved her family most and is survived by her three sons, Ronald (Linda) Abate, Joseph (Nancy) Abate and Riccardo (Jan) Abate, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a funeral service on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 9:00am at Pond Hill Baptist Church, 85 Pond Hill Rd., North Haven CT. Burial will remain private and held at a later time in All Saints Cemetery.
