Nancy (DeFelice) Sacco, 88, of New Haven passed away December 31, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born January 15, 1932 in New Haven to Dominic and Pauline (Volino) DeFelice. Nancy is survived by her loving son, Frank Sacco of East Haven, grandson, Frank Sacco Jr., and two brothers, Frank DeFelice of East Haven and Alphonse DeFelice of New Haven along with numerous nieces/nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Anthony Sacco, sons, Nicholas Sacco Jr. and Anthony Sacco, her parents and siblings: twins, Pauline DeFelice and Mary Palmieri, Raphaella “Rae” Dallas, Frederick DeFelice, Louis DeFelice, Michael DeFelice and Salvatore DeFelice.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to spend time with her family, cook and trade recipes with her nieces.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday January 6, 2021 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM (NOON) in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery in East Haven.
