Uncle George was a great guy and will be missed, I remember spending many Christmas eve’s at his home and going to midnight mass. He encouraged me to get into sales at a young age and I always remember a wall plaque in his den that had a drawing of a hobo that read “selling is like shaving if you don’t do it every day you’re a bum”. I still think of that 40+ years later and try not to be a bum.
He took our grandmother (his mother in law) in to live with his family and built a private space for her so she could spend her last years with them, I have always appreciated his efforts in doing that. That and his involvement with the church speak volumes to his character.
