Obituary of Reginald Elder
Reginald L. Elder 49 of Hamden passed away October 13, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born April 11, 1970 in Bronx, NY to the late Redley and Ellen (Linen) Elder. Reginald is survived by his three loving children, Autumn Penn, Matthew Elder and Mahoganie Elder, brothers, Shawn Elder (Kristy) of Madison, Angel Elder of Hamden and Christopher Elder of Hamden. He is also survived by mother of the children, Andrea Penn of New Haven along with numerous nieces/nephews/ aunts/uncles and cousins.
Reggie was a deacon at Salvation and Deliverance Church in New Haven,CT where he was an active member for the past 5 years. He will be sorely missed by his church family. Reggie was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed watching WWE, horse racing and NASCAR. He was known as the “jokester” amongst his friends and family, he will be missed by all.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 7 p.m. on Thursday October, 17, 2019 in the Christian Union Full Gospel Outreach Ministries, 426 Washington Ave., West Haven CT. Burial will be private. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
