Obituary of Michael Cedro Jr.

Michael Cedro Jr. 65 of Branford formerly of East Haven passed away on January 31, 2019 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born March 6, 1953 in New Haven to the Michael Sr. and Anna (Matteo) Cedro. Michael is survived by his dedicated caregiver, Laura Dolecki of Branford, uncles, Phil Cedro and Vito Cedro, aunts, Ida DePalma and Mary Bogrette. He is also survived by special cousin, Charlotte Mansfield (Bob) of East Haven and numerous other cousins and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, godmother/aunt, Carmela (Matteo) Dennison and aunt, Josephine DelMonaco. Michael enjoyed music, playing the piano and collecting antique trains. He also loved to read and enjoyed many hours spent at the library.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. in St. Pio Pietrelcina Parish of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
