Antoinette (Savo) Brignola 99, a long time resident of East Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2018 with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Brignola.  Antoinette was born in New Haven on August, 13, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Cappella Savo and was predeceased by her four sisters, Raffaela Palmieri, Anna Catania, Edith Paolillo, Susan Corraro and one brother, Dominic Savo.

Antoinette was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She is survived by her daughter, Marie Brignola Schoen and her husband Paul of Killlingworth; her sons Anthony J. Brignola and his wife Carol of Beacon Falls, Joseph M. Brignola and his wife Ann of Woodbridge.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Lori Brignola,  Diane Brignola, Michael (Rebecca) Brignola, Elizabeth (Gilbert) Simmons, Rebecca (Jay) Hamilton, Jodi Brignola and eight great grandchildren.  Antoinette will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
