Obituary of Thomas Quinn
Thomas Quinn 81 of Branford passed away August 23, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born November 19, 1936 in New Haven to Joseph and Margaret (Kennedy) Quinn. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of over 45 years, Margaret (Brady) Quinn, son Joseph Quinn (Karen) of Hamden and grandson, Thomas Quinn. He is also survived by a sister, Maureen Rea of Branford, nephews, Neil Rea Jr. of East Haven and Christopher Rea (Krista) of New Haven, niece, Michelle DeAngelo (John) of East Haven along with three great nieces, Megan Rea, Kelly Rea and Lindsey DeAngelo. He is preceded in death by his parents and great nephew, Michael DeAngelo. Thomas was a member of the US Army National Guard, lifetime member of the Elks and retired employee of SNET with over 37 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing golf at Alling Memorial Golf Club in New Haven.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in St. Francis Catholic Church, 397 Ferry Street, New Haven with Committal to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Funeral services are in the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
