Obituary of Henry Kluth
Henry F. Kluth 83, of New Haven passed away August 10, 2018 at Ct Hospice. He was born April 14, 1935 in New Haven to the late George and Mary Frances (Mulrine) Kluth. He was the husband of the late Marie (Libertoni) Kluth. Henry is survived by three loving children, Michael Kluth (Karen) of North Haven, Steven Kluth of East Haven and Deborah Kluth of New Haven along with four grandchildren, Michael Kluth Jr. (Marissa), Mallorie Madden (Ryan), Steven Kluth and Nicholas Kluth. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren, who he adored, Maxwell, Andrew and Benjamin Madden and siblings, Roberta Rutovich of Michigan, Kevin Kluth of New Haven and Mary Frances Kluth of Branford. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, George Kluth. Henry was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired employee with 35 years of service from the City of New Haven in the Traffic/Parking Division. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and watching UCONN Women’s Basketball.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. His funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Monday, August 13 at 9:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven with Committal and Military Honors to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
