Obituary of William Charles McNulty

In CT. Hospice, Branford, Dec. 10,2010, William C. McNulty Jr., 71,of Guilford. Loving husband of Rosemary Pileggi McNulty. Cherished brother of Daniel E. McNulty of Winchester,MA, Jo-Ann Mettler and husband John of Edgertown,MA, Bonnie Erich and husband Randy of East Haven and Patricia Davis and husband Phil of Westbrook. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born March 21,1939 in New Haven a son of the late William C. and Mary Meaney McNulty he graduated from East Haven High School in 1957 and from Fairfield University in 1961. He was employed for fourteen years as a social worker with the State of CT and had owned his own building contracting co. He was a Benedictine obliate and a member of the Monistery of the Glorious Cross in Branford. He was also a member of the East Haven Historical Society and a former resident of Florida and Edgertown,MA. In 2007 the McNulty family established and endowed a a fund in Vineyard Haven to provide money for a Haitian Orphanage. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Wednesday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Stanislaus Church, New Haven.
