Obituary of Ann M. Torello

In Branford, Nov.15,2010, Ann M. Torello, 72, of Oregon Ave., East Haven. Beloved wife of John B. Torello. Loving mother of John B. Torello Jr. of East Haven and Joanna Torello of Branford. Cherished grandmother of Kaili Saccavino of Wallingford. Sister of Jane O'Leary of East Haven and Francis Noonan and husband Robert of Guilford. Born March 28,1938 in New Haven a daughter of the late William and Josephine Stoddard Koelle. After the death of her father she was raised by her mother and second father Joseph Locke. She was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, class of 1956 and was employed for a time as a secretary for Nationwide Insurance Co. and the Knights of Columbus. She then worked in the cafeteria at D.C. Moore School in East Haven and lastly worked for Bradleys Dept. Store in the advertising dept.. She was a member of St. Clare Church and was a former member of the church women's club. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven Saturday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Branford. Friends may call Saturday morning 9:00 - 10:30.
