In St. Raphael's Hospital, Oct. 26,2010, Martha Laine Meehan,91, of the Morris Cove section of New Haven. Wife of the late John Francis Meehan for fifty six years. Born May 14,1919 in New Haven a daughter of the late Alexander and and Martha Harker Laine, she was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Rogan, Mary DellaValle, Theresa Coughlin and Anna Galligan. Martha was a long time employee of Charles W. Scranton & Co, of New Haven and was a parishoner of St. Bernadette Church. She was an active member and past president of the Annex Senior Citizens group and did volunteer work for the Orchard House. She is survived by numerous nieces and nepews.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Saturday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christina burial to be celebrated at 9:30 in St. Bernadette Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the Mass from 8:00 to 9:00 am Saturday
