Theresa Zapert 93 formerly of Townsend Ave., New Haven died October 20, 2010 at paradigm Health Center in West Haven. Born in New haven June 22, 1917, she was the wife of the late Edward Zapert. Predeceased by sisters, Anna Reardon and Marie Labinka and a brother Albert Girola. Beloved mother of Gail LeBlanc and Patricia DeRenzo and husband Paul. Cherished grandmother of Edward DeRenzo, Michelle and David Burns, Collette and Frank Arminio and Danielle LeBlanc. She also leaves 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Theresa was employed by the A&P Company for many years. After retiring, she worked for Annex Cleaners. She loved bingo and going to the casino, but the thing she loved most was going to the High School Plays and Musical Theater.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to Theresa’s Paradigm family for their love, care and devotion to their mother/grandmother.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 at St. Bernards Cemetery, West Haven. Arrangements are with Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Ct. 06492.
