My heart hurts today as I mourne the loss of Gloria "Gram". I grew up in her neighborhood and she cared for my sister and I as if we were her own grandchildren,, making her home our second home growing up. I am upset that I will not be able to fly up for the services as I am caring for my mother with 7th stage Dementia here who was Gloria's dear friend. Although my mother can not remember many people, when I told her of Gloria's passing she hit her head on the wall and sobbed "not my friend Gloria!!". Gloria has touched so many lives.The children in heaven will have a new grandmother looking after them and all who were close to her now have an angel on our sides. My deeepest sympathy to Shannon, Janie, Jessie , Jay and her great grandchildren...I wish I was there with all of you <3
