I met Mr. Reed later in his life --
through his daughter -- it was obvious that he loved his daughter and his sons and that being a good father was profoundly important to him. He was gracious and kind to me and I will always remember his charm.
I know that he will be deeply missed by those lives that he has touched -- including my own.
