In New Haven, July 5,2010, Thomas E. Zacks, 63, of Monticello Dr., Branford. Husband of June Squelia. Son of Helen Bridges Zacks of Branford and the late Robert Zacks Sr. Brother of Sharon Willard of East Haven, Dolores ( William ) Ricci of Hamden, Joanne ( Joel ) Frank of Branford, Christine Zacks of East Haven , Robert J. ( Cindy ) Zacks Jr. of Hamden and William E. ( Robin ) Zacks of Trumbull. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born Jan. 23,1947 in New Haven, he was a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical School and served with the US Navy. Thomas worked for several years for Jim Cunningham and Sons of Branford and was also a truck driver for many years for several area trucking companies.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at 8;30. Mass of Christian burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 9:00. Burial with military honors in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 - 8 pm.
