Mary Ellen and Cathy,
I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I have such wonderful memories of Woodward Avenue that I cherish to this day.
Your dad was always so chipper and always really interested in people. It flattered me so much as a teenager and still did when I ran into him around 2001. You were very lucky to have such a gentle man for a dad. My deepest sympathy to you.
love,
Cathy

To The Family,
I attended Nathan Hale School from 1968-1975. When I entered the 8th grade, I was asked to sit in for Mr. Welch's secretary while she was at lunch. This was an honor to a 13-year old girl who took her secretarial duties very seriously. Mr. Welch always treated me so nicely and it was such fun pretending to be an adult for an hour everyday.
I was very sorry to read of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
God bless,
Laura Cofrancesco
