Obituary of Janice Collier

Janice Collier 74 of New Haven passed away October 14, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born February 3, 1943 in New Haven to Joseph and Lorraine (Meade) Conroy. Janice is survived by her loving daughter, Colleen Abate (widow of Anthony Abate) of East Haven, her sons Fred Quist of New Haven and Robert Thompson of New Haven. Janice is also survived by three grandchildren, Angela Consiglio, Nicholas Abate, Anthony “AJ” Abate and a great granddaughter, Tatiana Consiglio and siblings, Judy Parise, Helen Dart (Frank), Joseph Conroy and Kathleen Kobierowski and numerous nieces/nephews. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Fred Quist and Edward Collier and daughter, Robin Thompson and grandson, Douglas Thompson. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at 11 AM in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 600 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven followed by a graveside in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven at 1:30 PM (procession will gather at the cemetery office). Graveside services are in the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), East Haven.
