Maria- I loved your brother. He brought lots of joy to our house and was there many, many times in the 38 years we knew each other. How many people have a friend for 38 years? I was blessed to be his friend. My heart aches. Your kindness and thoughtfulness of hosting the memorial at Ted's home was wonderful. It helped bring comfort to those of us too far away from CT to go to the funeral. I hope you know that Ted did talk of you and he loved you. Know that you will always have our friendship and love. Peace.

Adventures with Ted were some of the best ever. I will sorely miss his wittiness, his genius, his Tedwardness. So blessed to be called a friend. Maria, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Dear Lynch Family, I was so sad to hear about Ted's passing. Ted was my brother Johnny's roommate at Dean College. Through Johnny I've heard all the "Ted" stories, especially their boating and skiing adventures. I fondly remember Ted's RI visits which typically involved a sail on Narragansett Bay and beyond...either on our family's Ensign or Sunfish. Ted was a good friend to Johnny especially these last few years when Johnny needed a friend to talk to. He always made the time for my brother and I am thankful for his love, support, and friendship. My sincerest condolences, Susan Coppa-Collins ("John's little sister")

The Coppa family extends his sincerest condolences to you for the loss of your dear brother. Our brother John was unable to attend the funeral service, which he deeply regretted. Ted was a fabulous friend to Johnny, since they were at Dean together! They shared a love of sailing and of music, and Johnny loved hearing of Ted's adventures and projects. Ted was always willing to listen to Johnny and tell him what's what. They spoke at length and often, and I wish they had gotten together recently. Ted was a fascinating man and a loyal friend, who will be sorely missed. Johnny will get in touch with you soon to see about a visit. Again, so sorry for your loss.

I'm so very sorry for your loss Maria. Ted and I became friends during our freshman year of UBID. We had so many laughs and great times together over the years! He was a smart, talented, super-creative, fun, entertaining, and amazing person. Ted was always creating/working on multiple projects or involved in some sort of activities or adventures. He was so full of life. Ted was a great friend and character - we tend to remember the "characters" in life and I will always remember him fondly. I miss you my friend. Rest In Peace, Ted.

RIP My dear buddy Tedward. I will miss u dearly. We were partners in climbing rock and ice, inline distance skating, technical spelunking. powder chasing ski buddies, sailing mates, cross country motorcycling. He was my best man at my wedding thirty something years ago. If it weren't for him I wouldn't have met Julia. He was a brilliant designer, he had many projects in the works. He hand built a rowing boat that is amazing. His transformation restoration of his sail boat is an amazing accomplishment. Ted, You may be gone but never forgotten You were like a brother from another mother to me. You are off to another adventure I will miss you dearly.

Ted, I'm sorry I was never able to fix you up with your dream flight attendant. You always asked for a sky goddess with Seattle layovers. The last time we met was at Happy Hour in the crew hotel near SEA. It was a few years back. You were a loyal friend to my ex-husband. Always a source of entertainment. Barque was the best dog ever. Ted, your passing shocks all of us. You were supposed to live forever. Rest in peace, Ted.

Goodbye, old friend. From our Volvo 1800's, to Todd R, Zappa, Monty Python, UBID - we had a lot of fun and I watched a creative mind at work (and play). Too soon lost.
