Julia (Romano) Pesapane 88 of New Haven and Hamden passed away on July 25th, 2017 at Hamden Health Care. She was born April 5th 1929 in New Haven to Anthony and Mary Romano. Julia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Pesapane (1983) and siblings. Julia is survived by six loving children: Patricia Lincoln (widow of August Jr.) of New Haven, Mary Lou Pesapane of Delaware, Louise Teixeira (Michael) of New York, Michael Pesapane (Estella) of Wallingford, Robert Pesapane (Vicki) of North Branford, Angela Pesapane-Burns of Delaware, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her brother Michael Romano.
Julia was most happy cooking and spending time with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren, but most especially her great grandson Joseph (JJ).
Family will receive friends from 9:30am to 10:40am on Friday July 28th 2017 at Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven. Funeral Procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home at 10:45am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
