Dear Mr and Mrs. Mason and family,
Please accept my belated condolences on your beautiful daughter, Kelley. I also lost my beautiful 24 yr old daughter in August. I just learned of Kelley's passing in the New Haven Register today.
I travel quite frequently to Guilford to my daughter's gravesite and recently saw the memorial on 95 and wondered who had lost their precious life. I missed quite a bit of news then.
Even though we lost our daughters under different circumstances, I know what it is like to lose someone so dear and loved by us, who should have lived a long fulfilled life. My prayers are with your family. My daughter's mass was also at St. George's Church. If you ever need someone to talk to, please feel welcome to contact me. I'm sure they are both wondering around sunflower fields, sunflowers were also my daughter's favorite flower. Again, I'm so sorry about the loss of your daughter.
Sincerely,
Tami Kniffin

To the Mason, Gerardi, and Dion family,
I have known Kelley for many years. We worked together at Genovese. Back then I could always count on Kelley to make a dismal day at work more enjoyable. She was always laughing and had the brightest smile. I was blessed to have known her and am saddened by the fact that she is no longer with us. Kelley, you will never be forgotten! My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Faith, Hope and Love

Chip,
We here did not hear of your loss until yesterday, through a round about fashion.
Regardless, my heart goes out to you and your family. Words can not compensate for tragedy, and I always find myself at a loss for them; but I hope you can draw small comforts from the sympathies of your many friends.

Fun, beautiful, and a constant ray of sunshine are only three words that I can begin to describe Kelley with. Although I had met Kelley through my best friend Meg we spent many summers together going to those country concerts, which we all know she loved so much. I can’t even believe that she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends as you go through this grieving process. But Kelley will never be forgotten and always live on forever in everyone’s hearts.

Dear Rose, Chip, Heather and Christine,
I was shocked and so very saddened to hear about Kelley. Although we haven't seen each other in many years, the times i spent with your family are some of the brightest i can remember in my life. I remember Kelley as a beautiful girl with masses of curls and and an ever present smile. She was loving and kind and just a sweet girl. I wish i had seen the wonderful woman that she had become as she got older. My heart goes out to you and my prayers as well. I am heartbroken for you. Perhaps God really needed a bright spot with him and remembering Kelley, her smile could light up heaven. Please know that you are in my thoughts constantly.

A few weeks or so ago I was at Rosie, Chipper, and Kelley's house. We had dinner, of course Rosie put out an amazing spread of food, and then we were all going swimming. Kelley said that she wasn't going to go in the pool and I remember telling her to come in and that we'd have fun. She came in and I am so, so glad that she did. We swam and played volleyball for what seemed like hours and I had a blast. That's the type of person that Kelley was, always smiling and fun to be around. I only wish that we had gotten to spend more time together.
Rosie, Chipper, Heather, Christine: I am so, so sorry for your loss. I don't really know what to say other than if you need me I will be there for you. I love you all, and will continue to be there for you, even if all I can do right now is be a shoulder for you to cry on. God bless you all.
Kelley: Whenever I see a sunflower, I'll think of you. God bless you. I love you and will miss you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you: Rosie, Chipper, Heather, Christine, and Kelley.
