In CT. Hospice August 25, 2009 Gerald A. Desbiens 82, of 315 Eastern St. New
Haven. Beloved husband of Rosella (Kent) Desbiens. Loving father of Larry Desbiens of
Branford, Gary Desbiens of Puerto Rico and Mrs. J. Edie Marango of Delaware, brother
of Marcel and Euclid Desbiens both of Massachusetts, Arthur Desbiens of Rhode Island
and Clarisse Piche of California. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Jonathan,
David and Jennifer and great granddaughter Samarah. Predeceased by sisters Margaret
Carroll and Angel Pratt. Gerald was born in Somerset, MA October 18, 1926 son of the late
Aurelius and Regina (Pellerin) Desbiens. Prior to his retirement he was a painter for
Yale New Haven Hospital. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8372 John
Paul the Second of New Haven. A special thank you to all our friends at Bella Vista
also beloved friend Bill Marsland, Richardo, Peggy, Jennifer and Marilyn and those
whose love kept us through this. I
Calling hours are Friday in Clancy Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven from 4 - 8pm
Funeral Saturday at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers contributions to CT. Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405.
