Robert Misbach 91 of East Haven passed away February 2, 2017 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale NH. He was born June 3, 1925 in New Haven to Joseph and Louise (Oed) Misbach. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara (Cavallaro) Misbach and children, Joseph Misbach (Teresa) of Wallingford, Lorraine Wentworth (Bruce) of North Branford, Mark Misbach of North Branford, Thomas Misbach (Gina) of New Haven along with five grandchildren, Kevin Wentworth, Paul Wentworth, Mark Robert Misbach, Marisa Misbach and Matthew Misbach. Robert is also survived by brother, Edward Misbach of East Haven and son-in-law, James Seagrave of Meriden. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Deborah Seagrave and infant daughter, Nancy Misbach. Robert was a WW II Army Air Corp veteran and a member of American Legion Post 107. He worked as a carpet installer at Bullard's Furniture and for many years he was an usher at the New Haven Arena (Portal 3). In retirement years he worked as a driver at Diamond Auto. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven. Committal will be at a later date in St. Lawrence Cemetery with full Military Honors. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), East Haven. Please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929 in memory of Robert Misbach.
