Celeste Cunha 81 of New Haven and Milford, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017. She was born May 8, 1935 in Bridgeport to Amadeo and Maria Cunha. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert Cunha and sister Judy Cunha. Celeste is survived by her loving brother Arthur Cunha of New Haven, a niece and nephews. Celeste loved to listen to music, especially Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed arts & crafts, playing “Connect Four,” trips to the mall and park, Red Lobster and the color, pink.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM on Friday, January 20, 2017 until the time of service at 10:30 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Cunha family would like to thank Acord Inc. and the Third Avenue Group Home staff for their kind and compassionate care of Celeste for over the past twenty years.
