Suddenly, on January 7, 2017, James A. Mazzetta 46 of East Haven, went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Born in New Haven on March 30, 1970 to Anthony and Elizabeth (Longfellow) Mazzetta; husband of Gena (Latela) Mazzetta; father and step-father to Gabi Latela Mazzetta, Anthony Mazzetta, Jared Latela and predeceased by step-son, Vincent Latela. Brother of David Morcus, Michelle (Harry) Smith and Jeff (Michelle) Mazzetta. Jim is also survived by step-grandchildren and several nieces/nephews, whom he loved so much.
Family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of service at 7 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven. On Friday, in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven all are welcome to attend a 10:30 AM Graveside service.
