Michael Verdi 56 of New Haven passed away December 27, 2016 at St. Raphael Campus. He was born December 13, 1960 in New Haven to the late Ralph Verdi and Lois (McCarter) Boschen. Michael is survived by his loving sister, Karen Maselli (George) of East Haven, nephew, George Maselli III, niece, Jennifer Maselli along with his companion, “Sugar.” Michael was employed by Davenport College as a General Service Assistant with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed his family, friends and his cat.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church (Route 80) East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery. A special “Thank You” to the doctors, nurses and social workers at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Medical Intensive Care Unit for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of Michael Verdi.
