Gertrude “Trudy” Adinolfi 83 of East Haven passed away peacefully at CT Hospice on December 21, 2016. She was born February 20, 1933 in New Haven. Trudy is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Torres (Miguel) of East Haven, three grandchildren, Michelle Torres (fiancé, Daniel Azize) of Hamden, Luis Torres of East Haven and Michael Brown Jr. along with two siblings, Anna DellaCamera and Martin Kelly and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Koelle-Brown. Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice Adinolfi (1997) and son, Michael Brown (2015). Trudy worked at CMS for many years before joining SNETCO where she retired from over 20 years ago. She spent her remaining years with her loving family and precious dog “Reggie.”
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27 at 9:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
