Agnes Moore 97 of East Haven passed away November 11, 2016 at CT Hospice. She was born July 2, 1919 in New Haven to Joseph G. and Anna (Kane) McDonald. Agnes is survived by her three children, Kathleen Donegan (Dennis) of Brookfield, CT, Donald Moore (Yu-Yen) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Kevin Moore (fiancé Pam) of East Haven. Agnes is also survived by five grandchildren, Megan Donegan, Theodore Moore, Edward Moore, Emma Bailey (Edward), Graham Moore (Angie) and five great grandchildren, Sydney Moore, Olivia Moore, Hailey Moore, Kelsie Moore and Gus Bailey along with one brother, Robert McDonald (Ann) of Branford and daughter-in-law, Judy. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Moore (2007), sons Michael Moore (1975) and Peter Moore (2007) and siblings, Harriet Clawson, Margaret Soule, Anna Sheppey, Joseph McDonald, James McDonald and Frances McDonald. Agnes was a retired employee of the US Postal Service working in New Haven.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11 AM in St. Agnes Cemetery, 295 Boston Post Rd. (Route 1), Branford CT. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489 in memory of Agnes Moore.
