Irving "Buster" McKay 91 of East Haven passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016 at home. He was born February 19, 1925 in New Haven to William and Margaret (Brereton) McKay. Irving is survived by his loving wife of over 70 years, Dorothy (Chance) McKay, a daughter, Jennifer St’Arnault of New Haven along with four grandchildren, Robert Cordova Sr. (Danielle), Joseph Cordova, Clifford St’Arnualt III (Tina) and Sunshine Kramer (John). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and a sister, Joan Hurley (Frank) of East Haven. Irving is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Irving was an US Navy Veteran and retired employee of the railroad.
Family will receive friends from 12 PM (Noon) to 1 PM on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with burial to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park with Military Honors.
