Obituary of Victor Peregolise

Victor “Vic” Peregolise 74 of East Haven passed away peacefully on October 10, 2016 at CT Hospice. He was born November 5, 1941 in New Haven to the late Carmen and Geraldine (Dunlap) Peregolise. Victor is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Mary (Avitable) Peregolise, two children, Jennifer Santarcangelo (Robert) of East Haven and Victor “VJ” Peregolise (Cynthia) of North Haven along with two grandchildren, Anthony Carbone and John Santarcangelo both of East Haven. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Peregolise (Mary Ellen) of Madison. In addition, Victor will be missed by his faithful four legged companion, Lucy. Victor’s free time was spent traveling, sailing, and fishing. He enjoyed dinners with family and was a dedicated and long suffering NY Jets fan. Victor was employed as a plumber at Yale New Haven Hospital for 49 years before retiring in 2008. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 PM (Noon) on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Immediately following the funeral home, a celebration of Victor’s life will be held at Pompeo’s Restaurant, 485 West Main St. Branford (Branford Hill), all are welcome. Burial will be private.
