Obituary of Susan Ann Civitelli

Susan Ann Civitelli 62 of East Haven and Irons, Michigan passed away September 21, 2016 in Michigan. She was born September 3, 1954 in New Haven to Joseph and Lydia (Martin) Civitelli. Susan is survived by her mother Lydia Civitelli of East Haven, companion Jeff Milhem of Michigan, sister Jo-Ann Farace (Frank) of Branford, brother Joseph Civitelli Jr. of East Haven and twin nieces, Dana Howd (Jason) of Branford and Jessica Farace of Branford. She is preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Linda Civitelli. Susie was an avid animal lover; having had pets all of her life, including dogs “Ichibon and Kimoto.” Her most recent animal companions were two squirrels named Koala and Buster who would visit her regularly at her home in Michigan and her fish. Susie was most at peace whenever she was around animals. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven on Monday, September 26, 2016, burial will be private. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy-Palumbo (Clancy Funeral Home), East Haven.
