Obituary of Rosemary E. Waselik

In Hamden, June 18, 2009, Rosemary E. "Mickey" Lynch Waselik, 66, of Charter Oak Ave, East Haven. Beloved wife for forty four years to John T. Waselik. Loving mother of Michael J. Waselik; Johanna Marie (Michael) Sarno and Christopher W. Waselick, all of East Haven. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Corey, Samantha and Jenna. Sister of Patricia (Lawrence) Formichella of Henderson, NC and aunt of James and William Formichella. Also survived by her pet cat Kringle. Born Jan. 7, 1943 in New Haven a daughter of the late William and Rosemary Canavan Lynch Jr., she was a graduate of East Haven High School, class of 1960 and then graduated from Stone Business Academy. She had been employed as an executive secretary for the S.N.E.T and the Sun Life Insurance Co. She had loved to work with the three and four year old children at the Old Stone Church Nursery School and in her spare time loved to knit, cook, do word puzzles and enjoyed trips to the casinos. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Monday morning at 10: 30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 11. 00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Monday morning from 9:00- 10:30. Mickey's family would like to thank Dr. Tara for the compassionate care give to her at the Fr. Michael McGivney Center for cancer care and also thank all of the staff at the St. Raphael's Hospital Dept. of Oncology and also the Staff at the Arden House.
