John E. Longobardi, 91, of East Haven passed away peacefully on August 7, 2016. He was born July 30, 1925 in New Haven to John and Angelina (Caiafo) Longobardi. John is survived by his brother, Angelo Longobardi of East Haven and numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and one great-great nephew. John is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Laura (Stevens) Longobardi and three brothers, Henry, Rudolph and Eugene. A private graveside service was held at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Funeral services are under the care of Clancy-Palumbo (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, CT.
