Obituary of Marie Kluth

Marie Kluth 82 of New Haven passed away peacefully on July 31, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born October 18, 1933 in New Haven to Michael and Laura (Arcucci) Libertoni. Marie is survived by her loving husband of over 58 years, Henry Kluth and three children; Michael Kluth (Karen) of North Haven, Steven Kluth of East Haven and Deborah Kluth of New Haven. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Mallorie Madden (Ryan), Michael Kluth Jr., Steven Kluth, Nicholas Kluth and a great grandson, Maxwell Madden. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Michael Apuzzo, Gerald Apuzzo and a sister, Lorraine Hackett. Marie enjoyed cooking and longs days at the beach, but her true love was spending time with her husband, kids and family. She worked for over 40 years at the Diary Mart/Corner Stop Deli as a clerk, a job she cherished. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Thursday August 4 at 9:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Donations may be made to the East Haven Animal Shelter, 183 Commerce Street, East Haven CT 06512 in memory of Marie Kluth.
