Mary Louise Russo 85 of East Haven passed away July 21, 2016 at Branford Hills. She was born May 26, 1931 in New Haven. Mary is survived by three loving children, Maureen Marini (Robert) of East Haven, Cheryl Zukowski (Raymond) of Florida and Martin Russo (Michelle) of Wallingford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Robert Marini, Alicia Marini, Erica Marini, Raymond Zukowski Jr., Carissa Zukowski, Chris Russo, Zach Russo, and Madison Russo along with s sister, Jeanne Kamienski of North Branford, special niece, Rhea and companion dog “Sammy.” She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carmen Russo (2011).
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Monday July 25, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 26 at 9:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery. The Russo family would like to thank the entire staff at Branford Hills for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Heart Assoc., 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT, 06492 in memory of Mary Louise Russo.
