Eleanor Scarano 94 of East Haven passed away peacefully July 18, 2016 at Apple Rehab. She was born December 5, 1921 in New Haven to Louis and Rose (Musto) Scarano. Eleanor is survived by two loving children, Lorraine Fonteyn of East Haven and Robert Liscio (Judy) of Northford. Eleanor is also survived by three grandchildren, George Fonteyn Jr., Kendra R. Gaudreault (Steve), Robert Liscio Jr., and great granddaughter, Sabrina Fonteyn. She is preceded in death by her parents and is the last survivor of her immediate family.
She worked for JBT on Chapel Street in New Haven Ct, for over 30 years, she loved music and going dancing, singing and playing cards.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 23 at 10 AM in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Please go directly to the church on Saturday.
