Obituary of Jordan Millard Kinscherf

Jordan Millard Kinscherf, 18, of Twilight Dr, Madison passed away on June 11, 2009. The beloved son of Keith and Sheila McGrath Kinscherf and loving brother of Meredith McGrath Kinscherf. The Grandson of Robert and Ivy Russell Kinscherf of Brewster, MA , Mildred Dorothy Flanagan McGrath of Orlando, FL and the late Robert S. McGrath. Great-Nephew of Kevin Flanagan and Anne McDowell of Wilton, Nephew of Alicia McGrath of Orlando,FL, Tara McGrath of New Haven, Pamela Litvack of Los Angeles,CA, Robert McGrath of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Kinscherf of Cohasset, MA and Wendy Kinscherf of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by many cousins who loved him. Born March 8, 1991 in New Haven, Jordan was a senior at Daniel Hand High School in Madison where he played on the varsity lacrosse and soccer teams and was scheduled to graduate later this month. He was an active member of the North Madison Volunteer Fire Dept. and in his spare time loved to sail and snowboard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Margaret Church, Madison. Family and friends are asked to please go directly to the church on Monday morning. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 6 pm at the Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison. His two passions in life were the North Madison Fire Company and Lacrosse. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to either the North Madison Volunteer Fire Dept., 864 Opening Hill Rd., Madison, CT 06443 or the Jordan Kinscherf Memorial Lacrosse Scholarship Fund at the Guildford Savings Bank.
