Our family is so sorry for the loss of this special young woman. Amanda was a true, unselfish, and good friend to my daughter during her freshman year at USC and remained dear to her ever since despite the miles separating them. We had Amanda with us for a trip we took and she charmed me and my parents absolutely with her humor and love of words, phrases, books and thoughts. You leave beautiful and loving memories behind Amanda, you were a unique and gifted spirit. I believe that you will be watching over your loved ones from above and hope that you help them find peace. Thoughts and prayers with all of you who cared for this lovely girl.

Such a free beautiful spirit. My years at Carolina were worth so much more just by knowing you. Classes were more than just English/Linguistics; you gave everything life. From our jokes, to weekend shenanigans, I'm glad I got to know you. You will be missed classmate. Until we meet again. Love you.

I only knew Amanda as a friend of Anna's, and as that wonderful waitress for one summer at the shoreline diner. She was so full of joy, smiles, and so smart. As a parent, I can think of nothing so devastating as the loss of such a wonderful daughter. My sincerest sympathies.

Amanda, I have ran through many thoughts in my mind since learning of your passing. I wish I could've done something to help. You were very sweet. We had such fun in our English/Lit classes. We constantly quoted Archer in daily communications. I loved our texts, our messages, our talks. I so wish I could see you once more. There is much a pain and even more an emptiness within the walls of my heart. Your smile, brought much warmth; your eyes, much hope; your spirit, much love. I pray for your family and friends. I miss you, dear friend. I wish we had more time on this side. Yet, shall I pray we have meet once again on the other side of the setting sun. Rest in Peace my beautiful, wonderful friend. Parting really is all we know of heaven. Miss and love you dear Friend -Saint

I only knew Amanda a short time, but she had a positive effect on my life and she will be missed. In fact, she was one of the people who influenced my decision to go back to school to finish a degree as we discussed classes and her schoolwork on occasion during slow times on a lazy Saturday afternoon or two.
