Obituary of Thomas Parisi

Thomas Parisi, 72 of New Haven passed away June 7, 2016 at home. He was born October 2, 1943 in New Haven to Anthony and Lucy (Paolillo) Parisi. He is survived by his two daughters, Gina Parisi of Branford and Tammy Chicarilli and her husband, Damien of Guilford along with two grandchildren, Sophia and Tyler Chicarilli. Thomas is also survived by a sister, Anna Marie Sabatino and her husband, Edward of East Haven, brother, Ronald Parisi and his wife, Mary Jane of East Haven and several nieces/nephews. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ann (Brigante) Parisi. Tommy, as he was known to everyone, graduated from Eli Whitney Technical School and also did post graduate work. He served his country by joining the National Guard. He was a tool and die maker and started his own successful business, “Tool Master’s Tool & Machine Company”. Tommy loved sports, especially the Yankees, UConn girls’ basketball, and the Giants. He loved coaching little league baseball. He also loved his cars, having owned a Corvette. His true love was his family. His children, wife and grandchildren. He was kind and generous to everyone and everyone loved him. He was always there to help everyone with any task they needed done. He will be sorely missed. Family will receive friends from 9 – 10:45 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave on Monday at 10:50 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery
